Cost Accountant—Manufacturing Operations

Company
Our client is a leading manufacturer of commercial storage and display systems. This well established company has recently purchased/acquired additional product lines and now operates out of several remote locations.

Location
The position is located in the greater Middletown, CT area.

Responsibilities
This individual will be responsible for maintaining the standard cost system and performing cost analysis as required. Additionally, incumbent will track capital spending and compare it to budget, oversee physical inventory and report on major adjustments and assist controller with month-end closing and reporting.

Key Selection Criteria
The successful candidate will possess a minimum bachelors level education in accounting or finance combined with five years progressive cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.

Compensation
This position offers a base salary in the $50,000 - $60,000 range plus a comprehensive fringe benefits program.
