Formulations Scientist – Petroleum Additives

The Client
Our client is an international leader in the manufacture of chemicals. They are a leading supplier of plastic additives; a leading manufacturer of pool and spa products; a global leader in seed treatment; the largest component supplier to the lubricants industry; and a top producer of urethane polymers. This position will work with the petroleum additives group in NJ.

Responsibilities
This position will provide hands on lubricant formulation expertise in support of the business objective to manufacture and sell unique and specialized lubricants in the Company’s primary markets. The incumbent will investigate the applicability of new and replacement raw materials in order to enhance performance and minimize cost.

Key Selection Criteria
The successful candidate will possess a minimum Master level education in Chemistry and at least five years experience dealing with petroleum products.

Compensation
This position offers a base salary in the range of $90,000 – $100,000 plus a comprehensive fringe benefits program.
