Manager Lean Processes


The Client
Our client is a leading international manufacturer of connectors serving the electrical, electronics, and microconnections markets. This facility is a non-ferrous green sand foundry facility producing connectors for the electrical marketplace. Approximately
80 associates are employed at this Connecticut location.

Responsibilities
This position is responsible for leading the continuous improvement efforts for safety, quality, productivity, and service through the application of lean tools. Will be responsible for training managers and employees on the use of lean visual control systems; participating in new process designs; validating new product design versus company goals; and reporting results of lean activities to corporate office.

Selection Criteria
The successful candidate will possess a minimum bachelor's level education and
1-5 years progressive experience utilizing and implementing lean principles in a manufacturing environment. Ability to lead organization from the floor with strong communications skills.

Compensation
This position provides a base compensation in the $60,000 to $80,000 range plus a comprehensive fringe benefits package. This is a highly visible position providing opportunity to advance within the organization. A company relocation plan is available to the successful candidate.
