Vice President—Global Manufacturing


The Client
Key division for a leading international manufacturer of electrical equipment products. Annual Sales of $500MM produced by multiple manufacturing locations in the US and abroad. Products reach the customer via a global distribution network. Markets served include utilities, telecommunications, industrial, lighting, and individual consumers. Manufacturing processes include stamping, casting, injection molding and assembly.

Responsibilities
This position is responsible for effectively managing the division's operating resources to meet all cost and quality objectives. Reporting to the Division President, the incumbent will directly manage all manufacturing managers; supply chain/materials resources; quality resources, etc. This individual will also be responsible for expanding lean manufacturing initiatives and improving Time to Market for new products.

Selection Criteria
The successful candidate will possess a minimum bachelors level education and ten to fifteen year's progressive experience with a global manufacturing organization. Preference will be given to high volume parts manufacturing experience. Lean manufacturing expertise; pull system experience; and ERP experience are also required.

Compensation
This position provides a base compensation in the low to mid six-figure range plus management incentive plan and comprehensive fringe benefits package. A company relocation package is also provided.
