Manufacturing Engineer - Electronic Components

Company:
International precision manufacturing and assembly facility that designs, manufactures, and tests electronic components and assemblies for clients in telecommunications, aerospace and military applications.

Location:
The position is located in the Wallingford, CT area.

Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for working on assigned projects throughout the complete product life cycle. Activities will include creating and maintaining production time standards/routings; developing process metrics; working closely with design engineering and finance on new production line layouts and equipment selection; testing equipment, tooling and fixtures and participating in make/buy decisions.

Key Selection Criteria:
A bachelor's level education (mechanical/manufacturing engineering preferred) and five plus years experience with metals fabrication (bending, stamping), PC boards, plastics, machining, die-casting is required. Strong communications skills and the ability to contribute in a team environment is also required. Experience with electronics or RF is a plus.

Compensation:
This position offers a base salary in the mid to upper $60's range plus a
comprehensive fringe benefits program. Excellent visibility within the organization with the opportunity for further development.
