U.S. Sales
Director - East Operations
The Client:
Our client is a
cutting edge biotechnology company that focuses on the research, development,
and marketing of new therapeutic products aimed at treating blood disorders. This
is the Headquarters location for a publicly traded company with additional subsidiary
locations in the United States and abroad.
Responsibilities:
This position will hold the most senior level leadership sales role for a newly
developed drug and will be responsible for evaluating and finalizing the size
and structure for the sales organization; building, training, and leading the
sales team for the Eastern United States; and achieving all sales objectives.
Additional responsibilities will include overseeing the implementation of the
reimbursement, access and distribution model; providing input for the US brand
strategy; and teaching, coaching, and mentoring the Clinical Sales Specialists.
Key Selection Criteria:
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of ten years experience in the
pharmaceutical industry with a proven track record for success in building and
leading sales teams. Experience in specialty sales, with hematology/oncology and/or
ultra orphan drug experience preferred.
Compensation:
This position provides a
