Analyst - Manufacturing Operations
The Client:
Leading international
manufacturer of electrical equipment products. Company maintains multiple manufacturing
locations in the US and abroad. Products reach the customer via a global distribution
network. Markets served include utilities, telecommunications, industrial, lighting,
and individual consumers. Manufacturing processes include stamping, casting, injection
molding, and assembly.
Responsibilities:
This position will
be responsible for establishing standard costs for new and purchased products;
reviewing and analyzing plant operating variances; and assisting in the planning
and conducting of annual physical inventories and cycle counting programs at multiple
locations. Additionally, will work with Operations and Marketing to support sourcing
decisions and provide monthly excess and obsolete inventory analysis.
Selection Criteria:
The successful candidate
will possess a minimum bachelors level education and 5+ year's successful experience
in manufacturing cost accounting. Experience utilizing SAP is also required.
Compensation:
This position provides
a base compensation in the $60's and comprehensive fringe benefits package. Excellent
visibility is provided within the organization with the ability for upward progression.
